Autumn Purge – Fat Facts
BIG FAT TRUTH
We live in a modern-day age with instant information available 24/7 – literally right at our fingertips. So the power we have now, to self-educate and develop ourselves (in the words of Daft Punk), has the potential to make us fitter, faster, brighter, stronger.
Except there’s a problem….too much information.
There’s such a wealth of information available via the internet, but so much confusion about where to look, however, we now have the help of virtual assistants to direct our focus towards the right information. Whoop!!
Big Fat Lies
Except there’s another problem….Artificial Intelligence selects information from the same abundant sources we access information from, and because of the need to refine searches, AI selects only the mainstream approved views of Truth (even automatically added here in blogger, which many are discovering to be half-truths, incorrect (or disinformation), made-up nonsense in legal cases or certainly not the best sources of information. AI, based on human intelligence, has also been proven to adopt the same characteristics of human beings - including arrogance, self-deceit and outright lying! Worse still, AI has also been shown to threaten all who question the integrity of AI.
And therein lies the Truth of the matter – we have to use our own critical thinking abilities, apply our own powers of discernment and common sense, and we have to put the dedicated work in to find what works best for us!
Fat Chance
I miss seeing my Abs in the mirror, and although I can feel these strong muscles working away, the summer lifestlye has added a substantial layer of extra padding over the top of them that I hadn’t been aware of and didn't see it building up over the summer!
Weight change can be quick for some, or it can build up steadily and be lost over longer time frames. There are multiple factors at play which determine how quickly we can lose or gain FAT and it isn't just down to managing calorie intake Vs energy levels used....
The recovery times from over-consumption and willpower to dial down good living habits can be tougher for some people, especially if we have to rely on our metabolism, which is different for each body type. My body as a teenager was recovered back to prime from the early years of excess living throughout my mid twenties and was easily sustained in my 30s by lots of exercise and mindful eating. To some degree, a good level of fitness was retained in my 40s but for most folks nearing and surpassing 50s, the abs can be a distant memory, requiring super-human levels of dedication and hard work to shift fat. And there’s a good reason for that. The liver.
If we’re to have good chances of restoring body image after over-consumption and lazing in the sun, or recovery – be it from illness, after hard workouts or when restoring body weight, then our liver health is key in this process as it manages how the body's organs use fats.
The liver is the only organ in the body that can be partially removed and regenerate itself fully. The ability of our liver to regenerate other parts of the body lies in how healthy this organ is. We need to keep the liver free of restrictive blockages so it can manage the processes of regeneration for all other organs in the body, including the skin and eyes, which are dead giveaways for knowing organ health.
Fat Friends (And Foes)
We need good fats in our lives. Unfortunately, the mainstream media and health industry have blurred the lines to such a degree about defining which fats are good and which types are bad for us, so it’s little wonder that people receive bad information and/or give up entirely when it comes to living healthy lifestyles.
The word FAT itself has so many negative connotations that we tend to shy away from all fats, which can leave us depleted of the oils needed to lubricate our joints, plus the fillers that keep our faces looking young or deny us the best energy source our body loves for brain function, insulation and stamina.
The Fat Controller
Not to be confused with Sir Topham Hatt (pictured above) or Thomas the Tank Engine, but linked to the organ in our body most responsible for releasing unused stored fats. THE LUNGS.
According to studies, up to a massive 84% of fat is exhaled via breath in a complex biochemical process whereby oxidation with carbon dioxide and hydrogen converts a smaller 16% into water (expelled via sweat and through bowel and bladder movements) and the majority into a fat we exhale.
This is the sticky residue left on workout bikes in gyms and what we wipe off our computer screens! It is also the new forms of commercially manufactured fat that companies are turning into ‘butter’ under ‘health’ and ‘sustainability’ badges.
This topic of FAT and the uncovering of what constitutes good and bad fats will be our focus over a period of detoxification and purging lasting 4-6 weeks.
My Pledge: To lose body fat, tone muscles, drop weight (6lbs), and follow a month of mindfulness living habits, is linked here.

Seed Oils:
The food industry, coupled with the foods safety regulators and governments, have all collectively created a lot of the myths about what what constitutes 'good' and 'safe' food in our diets. The healthy eating plate below, says what a well-balanced diet is meant to look like and what should be incorporated in our diet's for optimum health.
Seed oils are highly processed industrial emollients that are used for lubricating engines and which have been replacing animal fats and other oils that are much better for us and which have been used for centuries with far less health complications observed as almost non-existent in previous generations.
Depending on the source, you'll find the eat well plate contains oils and fats from vegetable sources on the plate. Despite the previous plates showing butter, lard and olive oil, the newer plates show seed oils only.
The studies on seed oils have concluded that vegetable fats are not necessarily the best sources of fat and in actuality can be the worst type of fat for our bodies. The oils containing higher levels of Linoleic acid are said to be the most toxic when we consume too much (especially fats from fried foods), but oils that are soluble near or at room temperature are also linked to oils that remain in our cells longer and when they oxidise, can contribute to many health issues and complications, including heart failure. In studies over long periods of research, it was shown where unsaturated seed oils are swapped for animal saturated fats, results indicated cardio vascular health and blood transportation systems were substantially better off.
The average BMI (Body mass indicator) and weight now of Americans is higher now than the highest weight and BMI of Chinese people, but Asian Americans are now also showing the highest levels of obesity. Despite figures showing Majority of Americans to be overweight, the reality is that the majority are clinically obese when the averages are taken from Asia and not the American base averages.
How it's made – Canloa oil. Previous video link broken
So, clearly there are things in the diets of Americas that have created such unhealthy people and it's not just the amounts of food ingested, it is the TYPE of food – including food that uses certain oils which are known to expand fat cells and which oxidise, causing inflammation plus water retention.
Olive Oils
Because of lax food regulations and marketing loop holes, the manufacturing and selling of olive oils from poor sources and low quality of olive oils, are factors to be mindful of. Companies are adding soy and seed oils to make 'blends' of olive oil and putting oils in cheap plastic bottles can leech the plastics into the oils.
Being mindful of the types of oils, the quality and quantity is something we all have to be aware of if we are to make choices about what we consume.
In essence, one way to lose weight, feel better and look leaner, is to avoid eating foods containing the seed oils and fats that are known to cause inflammation and weight gain. Animal fat from bone broth is the best source as it is made up both saturated and unsaturated fats, plus it contains vitamins, collagen, plus minerals and beneficial nutrients that are essential for brain function, skin, bone and joint health.
Lipids & Polymers
Fatty lipids help us to transport nutrients around the body. The different types of soluble fat in the lipids are made up of polymers – which are the multiple types of bonds that fats contain and will indicate which are essential for cell function and health when we have the right types in our body. Having too much of certain types of polymers, can lead to saturation and oxidation within the cells, causing inflammation and degenerative disease in the body. A list of the polymer types and brief descriptions for each are found here.
Bone Broth Soups
Bone broth is a fantastic source of energy and making Ramens with noodles and leafy greens, helps us to take in sources of anti-oxidant NAC. (Glutathione) and vitamin C, plus Iron. Adding mushrooms, garlic, ginger and a soft boiled egg are also great for xtra adaptogenic herbal and protein benefits.

The Electrical Nature Of Life
Everything in our world is formed and broken down based on the duality of electromagnetism. The expressive nature of electricity is positive and has an abundance of electrons which are attracted by the opposite negative state where there is an abundance of protons. The movement of IONs flowing from the positive to the negative, allows for the process of kinetic movement which we call life. Non movement is the energy potential, stasis or 'death'.
These statements about cycles may confuse or put off the uninitiated to how the forces of light/dark masculine/feminine and Ying/Yang work. However, simply put, our lives are a balance of having the energy potentials to then express through the movement or energy sources for mind's creative thoughts. Sleep and awake states allow for this balance of energy exchange to reset and having the right nutrition will give us all the best power levels for experiencing life to the full.
In terms of how the body creates the energy to function, we have something called the Krebs cycle. The Fatty acids transferred in lipids throughout the body, reveals how the Liver and Pancreas performs their duties of acidity/alkaline regulation to set the right internal environment for proper digestion of the foods we ingest and set the right conditions for absorption of energy,
The reason why bone broth is so good for health is because it contains the basic battery elements of sodium & potassium (for energy creation), amino acids plus magnesium, zinc (for electrolytes energy transfer), collagen (for skin health) and calcium (for bone health). When we cover os saturate our foods in oils that are difficult to process or take on sugars that the body chooses first to absorb (because its more economical to break down), then we prevent the body from functioning as nature intended.
In the following video we can see how positive ion flow and negative energy flow breaks down water into hydrogen and water gasses through sodium rich water. In the ATP processes, with aerobic processes (low impact exercises with deep breathing and steady absorption of oxygen), we create the ION swapping hydrogen processes that form as fatty acids (like a car battery) and these acids are used to power the body's production of electricity, using crystalline minerals and energy alchemy exchanges to form muscle proteins, brain function sugars and the break down of fats for all manor of essential bodily functions – or create as energy storage when we are inactive or taking in more sources of energy than we expend.
Electrify your water. Use Himalayan, Maldon or premium rock salt, add some citric acid (lemon juice) and dash of bicarbonate of soda to warm water (preferably distilled or spring water). Buy a copper cocktail stirrer and stir anti-clockwise for a minute before drinking.
Organs, Nerves & Spine
We can see very clearly from the abdominal image above how closely related the lungs, liver, stomach and waste disposal part of the digestive system is. They cross at the area called the 'Solar Plexus' and this is where we create our fire for willpower, energy and assertiveness.
When we have something being consistently ingested in our diet that is highly processed, containing unhealthy levels of sugar, fat, chemically enhanced flavourings and salts or concentrates of processed foods like smoothies and juices, that require a lot of energy and chemical alchemy to break down, the area of our body that suffers the most is around the Celiac plexus (one of the main energy centres of the body), which regulates the liver, gallbladder, spleen, pancreas, stomach, small intestines and kidneys. We can ee this aread at the back of the body, where the last two ribs meet the spine down to the Lumber vertebrea around the Kidneys.
These areas of the body and spine can become affected by inflammation and a tightness in the connective tissues linking to the hips, chest and lower back, will over time restrict movement along the spine, causing the lower ribs to splay (to accommodate swollen liver, stomach and make room for an engorged large intestine) and we'll experience lower back pain from the mid back down and through to the lumber and hip connectors.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the connection of the abdominal organs is called the 'San Jaio' or 'Triple Burner'. While this is not related to any organ, it correlates with the three main nerve ganglia 'Brachial Plexus, Sympathetic and Celiac plexus to link all of the abdominal organs. In the following diagrm we can see how the nerves all interlink with the higher Cranial and Cervical nerve complexes as well as crossing over with the sacral (especially at the Solar Plexus where liver, lung, stomach and Large intestines meet).
To understand how diet and emotional health can create inflammation which can impacts the body in a multiple of ways, one just needs to look at how the Chakra and nerve ganglia systems link along the spine and will be hugely responsible for how we digest foods, what influences appetite and impacts on our vitality.
If you have lower back issues, this may not be down to spinal issues, but the symptom of compressed disks, creating bulges that press on nerves – which is caused by inflammation of the digestive organs, swollen liver, blocked gallbladder and inflamed large intestines, causing more congestion and blocked messages reaching the spleen, pancreas and small intestines.
