Spring Clean
CYCLES OF LIFE Every year, we go through cycles of death and rebirth. This change occurs naturally as the energies of the summer sun diminish and return. Autumn - also known as ‘Fall’ sees leaves turn brown and fall off the trees. The warmth of the sun-kissed eaarth, mixed with rain, creates the perfect environment for nature’s clean-up operation – where bacteria and fungi break down the old into new fertile soil, so the new shoots may emerge come Spring. The Spring brings fungi, regrowth cycles of bacteria; tiny organisms and insects, all here to do the merry dance every season. Similarly, our bodies go into phases of shedding old cells, creating the bridge states for rest and rejuvenation, and activating ‘flushing’ programs we call colds and/or flu. In these seasonal cycles, the perfect environments are created internally, where the many billions of micro-organisms that make up the body, are activated in states of clean-up, breakdown, repair and rejuvenation.
