ENERGY BOOSTERS It's fair to say that everyone would benefit from having a 'boost' button to increase their performance, health and vitality levels. So many resort to prescription and illegal drugs, or easy-to-access stimulants such as caffeine. Yet all of these measures for boosting are in fact irritants of the nervous system and actually deplete energy rather than restore it. There are many known ways to improve energy levels, such as improving the quality of our breathing, taking on good hydration and topping up time in the sunshine. Sleep also works as it allows the energy levels to go on standby for repairs to be made when the body is at rest. To energise while we are awake, there is a really quick way to 'boost'.
